An Edwardian terrace in Muswell Hill has been extended and refurbished to create a comfortable, low energy house. The original structure of the house was revealed, its modest beauty celebrated.   The project achieved an impressive estimated 80 percent energy saving compared to standard homes of comparable size. It also has an organic, modern, minimalist finish.  Prior to the renovation, the house was damp and cold.   Energy requirements are reduced dramatically by insulating, triple-glazing and improving airtightness.
