ACS International School Hillingdon honoured the accomplishments of its 45th graduating cohort, at its annual graduation ceremony, where students were joined by staff and parents to close out the academic year, ahead of receiving their exam results in July.

Martin Hall, Head of School at ACS International School Hillingdon, said: “Congratulations to our graduating cohort. Although it’s always sad saying farewell to students, I am hugely excited for what the future holds for this very bright and talented group. We are proud to have played a part in shaping their journey, and we look forward to seeing the many ways they will make a positive impact on the world. On behalf of the entire school community, I wish them every success and happiness in their exciting chapters ahead.”

The ceremony also saw selected students awarded for their standout achievements in academia, sports, the arts, international-mindedness, extracurricular activities, and more. Proudly receiving the Valedictorian Award this year was Sam S, who also received the Founder’s Award.

Sam S. alongside fellow graduating student, Diego S., delivered a speech to their peers. Sam said: “Our success over the past couple years has been pretty remarkable. As stated by Nelson Mandela: “It always seems impossible until it is done.” Or, in the words of a much wiser philosopher, Drake:  “We started from the bottom; now we’re here”. And personally, I think “here” is a really good place to be. This class of 2025 is one of the most decorated in ACS history, shown especially through the sheer number of universities who want all of us at their schools. This year we received a shocking 213 university offers, from places all around the world.”

Diego followed with: “Graduating is not necessarily celebrating all of what we have learned. Graduating is a celebration of the how we have all gained different sets of skills that will stick with us for the rest of our lives. Though the times ahead are still uncertain and unclear, through these connections and skills learned in these past four years of high school, I know for a fact that all of us will go far in life, no matter what comes next.”

Students who attend ACS Hillingdon have the opportunity to study the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) or Career-related Programme (CP), Advanced Placement (AP) courses or the US High School Diploma.
