American artist Francine Tint, an established Abstract Expressionist painter, whose work spans five decades, has now arrived in London for LOPF – the London Original Print Fair – 2025, which runs from 20-23 March at Somerset House.
The painter, represented by leading Mayfair gallery Upsilon Gallery (London and New York), has created a remarkable body of work. Her paintings display an exhilarating freedom of execution, combined with an original and frequently surprising colour sensibility, and vary in size from 10 inches to nearly 20 feet.
Her brushwork ranges from languorous and undulating swathes of paint to more aggressive and agitated gestures, whilst her works speak of a powerful and unwavering commitment to the visual and emotional vocabulary of abstract painting and embody the artist’s personal and deeply held belief in the power of intuitive creation.
On Saturday 22 March, the artist will be in conversation with Upsilon Gallery CEO, Marcelo Zimmler, as part of LOPF’s talks programme for 2025.
The talks are held in the historic building’s Navy Board Room with an entry cost of £5 pp. Francine’s conversation with Marcelo Zimmler will take place at 1400h and tickets can be booked on this link here.
