A Run-down Row of Garages Has Been Transformed into a £1.4 Million Dream Home

A run-down row of garages has been transformed into a £1.4 million dream home.

The single brick garages in Ealing were demolished to build a subterranean house split over three levels.

BBC The Traitors star Nathan Khider, owner of the top-ranked property consultancy Nathan K Real Estate, is marketing the property for more than four times its original purchase prices.

The 5 garages were bought for £300,000 and are now unrecognisable as a 1350-square-foot property.

Nathan said: “This is a one-of-a-kind project with half of the house built underground.

“I have never sold anything like this before. It is a huge transformation, turning unused space into a modern 3-bedroom home.

“We are delighted that our vision paid off and that all of the challenges were worthwhile!

“The utility room, two bathrooms and two of the bedrooms are in the basement, while the kitchen-diner is at half basement level.

“The third bedroom is on ground floor level, with views of the garden terrace.

“Big windows and five skylights allow plenty of natural light into the modern space.

“Building underground and using various materials, including brickwork, glass, steel and concrete presented its difficulties but the result is a stunning property fit for a family of four.”

The new dwelling is on Corfton Road, on the boundary of the Ealing Cricket Ground Conservation Area, and facing the Mount Park Conservation Area.

Nathan specialises in buying and selling some of London’s most unique and exclusive homes, working with high-profile clients across the entertainment and business industries.
