Two of the capital’s hottest and most loved homegrown food institutions; Yard Sale Pizza and Bleecker Burger team up for the collab of the decade and most requested link-up of all time – in honour of Yard Sale Pizza’s 10-year anniversary.
Since 2014, Yard Sale has pioneered London’s pizza scene growth to becoming one of the leading pizza capitals of the world, from slinging slices from a handmade pizza oven in co-founders Johnnie & Nick’s backyard, to expanding to twelve shops across London over the last 10 years and achieving the London’s Best Pizza accolade (as rated by Time Out) and twice winning Best Value Eats (OFM Awards).
Bleecker Burger’s founder Zan shared a similar journey, from her food truck to building London’s best (and now the UK, as rated by the National Burger Awards) with both London-born businesses giving back from their success (£100,000+ has been raised for charities during this time.)
For every pizza sold £1 will be donated to The Outside Project, an LGBTIQ+ Community Shelter, Centre and Domestic Abuse Refuge in response to those within the LGBTIQ+ community who feel endangered, who are homeless, ‘hidden’ homeless and feel that they are on the outside of services due to historical and present prejudice in society and in their homes.
Introducing: The Bleecker Birthday Pizza
An indulgent, super-flavourful pizza celebrating the iconic flavours of Yard Sale and Bleecker Burger to create the ultimate burger-pizza.
The iconic Yard Sale base, made from their 72-hour fermented dough will be topped with Bleecker beef patty or Symplicity patties for the veggies, featuring their signature seasoning, diced white onions and Bleecker’s house sauce, on top of a fior di latte mozzarella and tomato sauce – available in both the signature 12 inch and iconic 18 inch.
Yard Sale, which prides itself on its in-house delivery service, has spent the last ten years developing its pizza so it’s engineered to travel. From their 72 hour slow fermented dough to the slightly slower & longer cook to create a crispy base that can better withstand a journey – which all leads to the freshest & hottest pizza delivered to their customers.
From the best flavours to the coolest collabs, time and time again, these pizza pioneers understand the assignment with their finger firmly on the pulse of London’s most wanted foodie and culture collabs. This is evident from their ingenious affiliations with the likes of Amelia Dimz, Loyle Carner, Real Housewives of Clapton and Taste Cadets – and this already-iconic partnership is sure to go straight to the top of the collaboration hall of fame.
From 8th May, ‘The Bleecker Birthday Pizza’ will be available for delivery, collection & dine-in across all shops for five weeks only.
