LONDON SHORTLISTED FOR 5 GAYDIO PRIDE AWARDS

The shortlist for the 2024 Gaydio Pride Awards honours the work of charities, people & organisations across 13 categories.

Today (Friday 24th November), Gaydio has announced the shortlist for the Gaydio Pride Awards 2024 with Hilton, a ceremony dedicated to recognising and celebrating the efforts made to better LGBTQ+ lives in the UK.

This morning, it was officially announced that London has 7 nominations across 5 of the categories:

    • Just Like Us – Charity of the Year
    • Stonewall Housing – Charity of the Year
    • Opening Doors – Charity of the Year
    • West London Queer Project – Enterprise Award with Nissan
    • Dee Whitnell – LGBTQ Influencer of the Year with Boohoo
    • Anna Furnivall – LGBTQ+ Young Business Person of the Year with DPD

All nominees will be honoured at a glitzy ceremony in February 2024 at Manchester’s Hilton hotel, where guests will enjoy an evening of celebration – joined by a hoard of famous faces attending as guests and performers.

The 2023 ceremony, hosted by Gaydio’s breakfast show presenters Paris & Dave, saw a performance from top 10 selling artist Raye, a DJ set from Sigala and a showstopping performance from Danny Beard, winner of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK (Season 4).

The 2024 awards will focus on regional and grassroots efforts, giving thanks to the unsung heroes within the community – 10 of the 13 categories were opened to the public in October, giving people the chance to shine a light on the individuals, charities, events and organisations making a positive difference to the lives of the LGBTQ+ community across the UK.
