Have yourself a delicious little Christmas: ASK Italian unveils festive menu complete with Christmas Carbonara and a Snowball Gnocchi

‘Tis the season to be tasty, as ASK Italian has revealed its deliciously festive menu, featuring Christmas flavours across its starters, main courses, desserts and cocktails, all with an Italian twist.

Diners can enjoy a variety of new items from the Festivo menu – starting with succulent pork & sage meatballs al forno, served in a rich pomodoro sauce topped with mozzarella and coppa ham, baked in the oven until bubbling hot, and served with slices of Wildfarmed ciabatta, made using regenerative flour that’s better for the planet.

For mains, take your pick between the creamy Christmas Carbonara or the Pizza Natale. Made with fresh egg tagliatelle with crispy pancetta and Brussels sprouts in a velvety mascarpone and cheese sauce topped with smoked prosciutto, the Christmas Carbonara is a festive delight.

The Pizza Natale has all the iconic flavours of a traditional Christmas dinner – on a pizza! Topped with pulled turkey, crumbled pork & sage meatballs, pancetta, chestnuts, shredded Brussels sprouts and balsamic onions, it’s a festive sensation. For those who truly want to embrace the festive spirit, add Italian-style pigs in blankets for an extra £3.

End your merry feast with ASK’s decadent desserts: a syrupy Orange Panettone Pudding, topped with a scoop of vanilla gelato, a Golden Honeycomb Sundae, or a festive take on their Nutella-filled dumplings, the Snowball Gnocchi served with white chocolate sauce and curls to dip and dunk. All this and more can be enjoyed as part of ASK Italian’s festive set menu for just £27.50 per person.

The festive flavours have also made their way to the bar, with two Christmas-inspired cocktails. The Cranberry Gin-gle is created with each restaurant’s local gin, mixed with cranberry juice and elderflower and topped with soda water, resulting in a beautiful red colour. Pro tip: ASK Perks members can try it for free throughout the month of November – it’s free to sign up so there’s no reason not to!

If you’re dreaming of a white Christmas – the White Christmas cocktail is the ultimate indulgence, made with Baileys, vodka and gingerbread syrup, topped with whipped cream and an adorable mini gingerbread man. Add a dash of gingerbread to your favourite classics too, like an Espresso or Flat White Martini, or any hot drink.

As part of the restaurant’s ASK For Better initiative, 50p of each Festivo main course will be donated to FareShare, the UK’s biggest charity fighting hunger and food waste.

ASK Italian’s new festive menu is available across the UK from 20th November 2023 – 1st January 2024. Find your local ASK restaurant online.
