A parade of London’s most fashionable pups turned heads this Easter as they hopped into the spotlight at Love My Human Townhouse for a tail-wagging celebration of style, social media, charity and paws-itivity. The furry fashionistas sported bunny ears, Easter bonnets, pastel bandanas, and enough sparkle to make any red carpet jealous. They gathered to celebrate Dog: The Originals—a new coffee table book curated by London-based dog lover and influencer Yasmin El-Saie.
The Easter-themed event at the popular Kings Road spot brought together the crème de la crème of canine Instagram stars, with tails wagging in support of a great cause. With themed photoshoots, champagne and doggy treats galore, and plenty of cuddles, the event created picture-perfect moments for both pets and their humans.
At the heart of the celebration was Dog: The Originals, a glossy tribute to some of the most unique and heart-warming canine accounts on Instagram. Packed with stunning photography and fun-filled doggie Q&As the book is a joyful homage to our beloved furry companions who brighten our screens—and our lives—every day.
But this wasn’t just a stylish photo op—it was a chance to give back. 50% of profits from book sales will be donated to The Unstoppable Dogs, a charity that supports disabled dogs and helps them live their best and happiest lives. The event proved a powerful reminder that these canine celebrities have just as much heart as they do followers.
Yasmin El-Saie, the creative force behind the book, was inspired by her personal journey with anxiety. She credits the dogs of Instagram for lifting her spirits when she needed it most. “The dogs of Instagram have been like therapy for me,” Yasmin shared at the event. “They make me smile, lift my spirits, and I wanted to create something that shares that feeling with others.”
Yasmin’s own Instagram account, @chilliwawa, co-starred by her adorable chihuahuas Chilli and Sukhi, has become a favourite in the pet wellness community. Known for mixing wholesome daily routines with holistic health tips for both humans and dogs, her feed has become a sanctuary of calm, cuteness, and connection. It’s this unique blend of mindfulness and mischief that made Yasmin the perfect person to bring Dog: The Originals to life.
The event itself felt more like a joyful reunion of furry friends than a formal launch, with celebrity pups sipping puppuccinos, striking poses for the paw-parazzi, and even getting their paws on signed copies of the book (with a little help from their owners, of course).
As Yasmin says, “I believe the pet influencer craze was born out of love. There’s joy in the funny, precious moments we share with our dogs—and this book is the natural next step to sharing that happiness, for us to dip into whenever we need it.”
Whether you’re a die-hard dog lover or just in need of a mood boost, Dog: The Originals is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face—and maybe even a few happy tears. One thing’s for sure: London’s dogs aren’t just adorable—they’re making a difference, one paw at a time.
