- Shell-ebrate the Easter holidays at SEA LIFE London Aquarium by diving into its ‘Turtle-y Terrific’ experience
- Those brave enough can see what the London Dungeon’s cobweb-ridden Cabinet of Curiosities show has in store
- Whilst in a not-so-far-far-away land, kids will be ogre-joyed by Shrek’s Adventure! London’s Easter offering
Experience an egg-cellent day on the South Bank this Easter break, with a trio of interactive activities at SEA LIFE London Aquarium, the London Dungeon and Shrek’s Adventure! London, with something for all members of the family to enjoy.
Guaranteed to bring oceans of fun to loved ones, SEA LIFE London Aquarium’s exclusive ‘Turtle-y Terrific’ event, running from 5th to 21st April, features a mesmerising activity trail with fact boards and other interactives, as well as a conservation cove takeover to educate future aquarists on the importance of marine life.
Once guests have learnt all about the amazing creatures, they can stop by the Ocean Tank to meet Boris and Dougie, SEA LIFE London Aquarium’s resident Green Sea Turtles. While there, it would be rude not to high-fin the attraction’s interactive turtle puppet, which will be on display throughout the Easter holidays.
A short walk away, you’ll find the London Dungeon, which is creaking open the doors to its shadowy and mysterious Cabinet of Curiosities show this Easter.
Inspired by oddball stores brimming with antiques, collectibles, and peculiar finds, from 5th April, willing volunteers desperate to compare their unique treasures will have the opportunity to meet the mystical Frith, a reincarnated shopkeeper who has been selling their wares ever since their first stall opened in 1567.
From ghostly trinkets to cursed relics, a display of frightening and uncharted objects will be on show—but only the daring will ask if they have a supply of precious artefacts hidden away for an Easter surprise.
Those looking for something to keep the smaller members of the family busy this Easter should prepare to be swamped by a new Shrek-tacular activity palace that is being uncloaked at Shrek’s Adventure! London from 5th -23rd April. Little ones will have the opportunity to head to the castle of Duloc, dress in a coat of arms for a royal photo opportunity and chance their arm at a heehaw-larious game of donkey-inspired horseshoes.
Catherine Pritchard, General Manager of the London Dungeon and Shrek’s Adventure! London, said: “Whether big and little kids are eager to learn, have fun exploring London’s creepy history, or deserve an eggs-tra holiday treat, happily ever after is guaranteed this Easter along the South Bank with its trio of renowned Merlin attractions. We’re hopping with excitement to welcome guests to experience the egg-ceptional thrills and magical delights that can be found at SEA LIFE London Aquarium, the London Dungeon and Shrek’s Adventure! London.”
