Mad about the Bowl! Free bowling if your name is Bridget or one of her love interests

Strike it lucky in love with free bowling if you’re called Bridget Jones or one of her love interests  

• Hollywood Bowl and Putt & Play centres across the UK are offering free dates to celebrate ‘Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy’ film release this Valentine’s Day  
• Any guest’s date who shares their first name with the iconic actors that have formed Bridget Jones’s love life will get a free game between Monday 10^th and Friday 14^th February  

Love is in the air at Hollywood Bowl and Putt & Play centres across the UK which are offering a free game of bowling or mini golf for two to celebrate the new Bridget Jones movie release ahead of Valentine’s Day.  

Striking it lucky is the name of the game from Monday 10^th – Friday 14^th February, when anyone named Bridget or one of her love interests across the movie franchise can bowl for free at any of Hollywood Bowl’s family entertainment centres. 

From fan-favourite Mr Darcy played by Colin Firth to suave Daniel Cleaver played by Hugh Grant, and new love interest Roxster played by Leo Woodall, any guests named after the actors who have played these iconic roles – or, of course, named Bridget – need to show a form of valid ID, to be granted a free game of bowling for their date.  

Dave Williams Operations Director, at Hollywood Bowl, said: “We’re ‘Mad About the Bowling’! We love Valentine’s Day here at Hollywood Bowl – seeing couples have fun on the lanes, compete in the arcade games, or even share a milkshake at our diners. We’re inviting couples of all ages to celebrate date night with us and create lasting memories together, with hopefully some more luck on the lanes than the luck Bridget Jones has with her love life!” 

As well as being Mad About the Bowling on the lanes, guests can continue the fun in the amusement areas full of iconic arcade games. Guests can head to the modern American-style bar and diner to enjoy plenty of delicious, affordable food and drink to top off date night. There is also a Valentine’s special package where you and your date can enjoy two games of bowling, a drink each, and sharing nachos from £14.50.  

Guests can bowl in their own flat, closed toes shoes, and should sign up for the VIP mailing list to receive offers and the latest news.   

The offer is valid in all Hollywood Bowl and Putt & Play centres across the country from Monday 10^th February up to and including Friday 14^th February.
