Sabert Europe has launched Hot2Go – a fully recyclable, versatile, free from plastic lamination packaging solution for all hot food on the go.
“We first introduced Hot2Go as a prototype at the annual Packaging Innovations show at the NEC in February – to ascertain market interest,” says Sabert’s UK&I Managing Director and European Commercial Director, Alex Noake. “The response was overwhelming, so we immediately moved to the next stage of development.
“Fully recyclable, multifunctional, and entirely free from plastic lamination, the Hot2Go range is microwavable, conventional ovenable, stackable and nestable. Hot2Go offers unrivalled performance for hot food to go, and is also refrigerator and freezer-friendly.”
Leak and grease-resistant, with excellent insulation properties, Hot2Go is made with a unique FSC® certified and fully recyclable micro-fluted paperboard – which is entirely free from plastic lamination. The design features secure closure with integrated tabs and is available either without window or with a high-clarity film window made from recyclable rPET, with a guaranteed minimum 30% recycled content.
The Hot2Go range is available in four different off the shelf sizes: 500ml, 750ml, 1000ml and 1200ml and is manufactured to FSC® certification as standard. Tailored solutions are also possible.
