Alto rooftop x Lacoste unique terrace takeover

With the highly anticipated Olympics’ starting this Friday, celebrate the summer of sports at one of the capital’s most iconic sky-high dining spots, Alto by San Carlo. Aptly named the ‘Le Club Lacoste’ and perched atop one of the world’s most prestigious department stores, Selfridges, London, the restaurant and terrace has transformed into an immersive sporting haven in partnership with Lacoste.

The space also plays host to Lacoste’s archive, showcasing images from René Lacoste’s impressive tennis career, encapsulating the true essence of the fashion sport brand.

Sip on a cocktail from a range of limited-edition varieties including the René with Amaro Montenegro, lemon, Champagne and raspberries; Casa Crocodile with spiced rum, pineapple, lime, passionfruit and blue liqueur and for a non-alcoholic option, Match Point Spritz with strawberry, basil, lemon, elderflower, lemonade. Indulge in authentic Italian cicchetti dishes including Battuta di Manzo Marinata, beef fillet carpaccio dressed with rosemary oil, black truffle with mayonnaise and carrots; Risotto al Basilico with basil pesto and green asparagus; Lemon Sole with sautéed clams and green asparagus; and Avocado e Pearls Tartufo, avocado and truffle pearls served with pizza bread.

For dessert, opt for the Grand Slam, marinated strawberries on Italian Maraschino served with vanilla cream and topped with Italian meringue, enjoyed with a front row seat to the games across the large digital screens.
