Ex-display and pre-owned kitchen retailer, Used Kitchen Hub, is thrilled to have been named as a finalist in not one, but two categories at this year’s SME National Business Awards.
The online re-seller of discounted second-hand kitchens has been shortlisted for both the Family Business of the Year and Service Excellence Award, having consistently delivered its fully managed solution and exceptional customer service since the business was established in 2015.
Over the last nine years, Used Kitchen Hub has helped thousands of customers with their renovation projects, from evaluation to selling and removal. Because of this, the family-run business has become the UK’s “go-to” platform for free guidance, advice and help with all aspects of buying and selling used kitchens.
Consisting of 20 categories such as Employer of the Year, Best New Business and the Positive Impact Award, the SME National Business Awards aim to raise the profile of industrious, hardworking and enterprising SMEs across the UK, and are considered a highly sought-after accolade of achievement.
Used Kitchen Hub founder, Daniel Abrahams, commented: “My wife and I co-founded Used Kitchen Hub in 2015, shortly after selling our own kitchen, when the concept of buying and selling second-hand kitchens was still relatively new. We wanted to help reduce the number of viable ex-display and privately owned kitchens being sent to landfill, whilst also finding them a new home.

Used Kitchen Hub has experienced a wealth of success over the last six months, having seen its operations increase by 30% at the end of 2023 and announcing a number of new commercial partnerships with iconic kitchen brands including Nolte and Poggenpohl.
All winners of the SME National Business Awards 2024 will be announced at the awards ceremony on Friday 6th December at Wembley Stadium.
