    1. Cardiff

The study showed that the UK city offering the ultimate Six Nations experience is Cardiff, achieving an overall score of 6.9/10. Boasting the third highest number of rugby teams out of all analysed cities, the Welsh capital clearly has a passion for the sport. Rugby fans looking to enhance their game-watching experience with beer and food, can enjoy a pint for £4.00 and a fast food meal for £10.38.

    2. Edinburgh

With a total score of 6.5/10, in second place is another UK capital – Edinburgh. While Scotland’s capital has five more rugby stadiums (7) and six more sports bars (13) compared to Cardiff, its average pint and fast food meal cost is slightly higher. Those wanting to eat out and have a drink would have to pay £5.00 for a pint and £11.00 for a meal.

    3. London

Following very closely behind in third place, with a final score of 6.4/10, is yet another capital city – London. Unsurprisingly, the English capital has the highest number of rugby teams out of all examined cities – 41, which is roughly twice the number of teams Cardiff and Edinburgh have. The average cost of a pint in the city is also the highest, £6.35, and the average cost of a fast food meal amounts to £13.50 – the same as Bournemouth in 18th place.

    4. Leicester

Leicester places fourth, with a total score of 6.2/10. The city has the second highest number of rugby teams out of all cities in the study – 32, which is only nine less than London. Sports fans can choose from 14 sports bars, where they can watch the games and should be prepared to pay £4.50 on average for a pint and £11.00 on average for a fast food meal.

    5. Glasgow

Rounding off the top five, earning an overall score of 6.0/10, is Glasgow. Average pint cost and fast food meal cost in the Scottish city is actually the same as Leicester – £4.50 and £11.00 respectively. And while Glasgow does have one extra sports bar compared to Leicester, the city has only seven rugby teams (25 less than Leicester).
