To celebrate the fifth anniversary of Jeff Wayne’s The War of The World: The Immersive Experience, Layered Reality, the company behind the experience, has launched a competition to find London’s biggest Jeff Wayne fan.
Superfans of the award-winning composer and musician are invited to share their memories of seeing Jeff live on stage for a chance to win VIP tickets to the reimagined Jeff Wayne’s The War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience and a special limited edition double album of Jeff Wayne’s The War of The Worlds in coloured green and red vinyl, signed by Jeff.
What’s more, the winner will receive two tickets to Jeff Wayne’s Musical Arena Tour of The War of the Worlds in 2025, including exclusive access to the pre-show sound check and group photo with Jeff.
Also, two runners up will receive a selection of merchandise signed by Jeff.

Originally opened in 2019, Jeff Wayne’s The War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience is now the UK’s longest running immersive experience. It brings the 1978 multi-platinum album Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of The Worlds to life, and transports visitors back to 1898 to experience escaping a Martian-occupied Victorian England by combining virtual reality, live theatre and multi-sensory effects.
The experience has over 13,000 combined five-star reviews, and is ranked London’s no.1 immersive night out on Tripadvisor.
Layered Reality has also unveiled new features for the experience, as part of its fifth anniversary celebrations. The updates include new sounds and remixes as well as a newly created scene to help deliver the story in a different and even more interactive way. The winner of this competition will be among the first to experience these.
