London roaster Pact Coffee has brought the first item of brewing equipment to Waitrose coffee aisles.
A drip filter made by Pact Coffee in collaboration with Japanese manufacturer Hario, the V60, is now available in 242 stores nationwide for £11.
The move makes Pact Coffee the first roaster to bring brewing equipment to the supermarket chain.
It also promises to make it easier for customers to take their first step into the world of speciality coffee.
The V60 is made from heat-proof plastic, and comes with a measuring scoop and 40 paper filters.
It’s easy to use, takes just a minute more than instant coffee and gets the very best flavours from top-quality coffee.
This supermarket first between Pact Coffee and Waitrose is an exciting next step in the growing partnership between the two companies, which started in late 2023 when six of Pact Coffee’s lines were first rolled out in Waitrose stores nationwide.
Today, Waitrose customers can get their hands on Pact Coffee’s award-winning Bourbon Cream Espresso, Single Estate Microlot Filter and House Blend in-store – the latter being its lowest-priced supermarket coffee, working out at just 44p per cup.
A special promotion will be running from 29th January to 25th February, allowing customers to pick up a V60 brew kit and House Blend Ground Coffee 200g in a bundle together for £14 – saving £2.95 on the total price.
