NEW YEAR, NEW ME? NO THANKS!

MARKET PLACE VAUXHALL SERVES 17p PINTS FOR QUITTER’S DAY

The venue will be serving pocket-friendly pints on 17th January – the day most New Year’s resolutions fail

    • On 17th January, Market Place Vauxhall will be offering pints for just 17p to Londoners looking to break their New Year’s resolutions
    • 17th January, otherwise known as Quitters Day, is known as the date most people abandon their resolutions
    • Fall off the wagon in style with a delicious pint of Asahi at a pocket-friendly price – all you have to do is declare your failed resolution

Struggling with New Year’s resolutions? Over Dry January now? Market Place Vauxhall is offering a cheeky solution for ‘Quitters Day’ – the day most people abandon their New Year pledges – with 17p pints for anyone breaking their vows.

Research shows that 17th January is when people wave goodbye to their fresh starts. Whether you’re throwing in the towel on Dry January, abandoning your diet or letting that brand-new yoga mat gather dust, Market Place Vauxhall is offering you a chance to drown your sorrows – or celebrate your freedom.

To claim a 17p pint, simply head to the bar on Friday lunchtime and confess your abandoned pledge. Whether Dry January or another failed vow, your honesty will be rewarded with a pocket-friendly pint.

Holly Hilton, Marketing Director of Market Place “Let’s be honest, most of us set unrealistic goals after over-indulging during December. Rather than feeling guilty about it, why not embrace the fact we’re perfectly imperfect with an almost-free pint in good company? After all, you’ll be with others who agree life’s too short and have also broken their Dry January vow…!”

When: 12pm-2pm on Friday 17th January, while stocks last.

Where: Market Place Vauxhall, 7 S Lambeth Pl, London SW8 1SP
